First impression of the year. What is it going to be?
Above: The first plate (colour) with it's impression above.
The studio was very cold, so the ink was a little stiffer than normal. While this was hard work, it did facilitate quite a 'dry' application of ink to the plate.
Below: Ink is carefully worked on to the roller as graduated colours before it is transferred to the plate (shown above).
